Wedding Rehearsal, Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding, and Fashion Expo- this is going to be an exciting week. Friday will start off this exciting week, Monday through Thursday are just the boring everyday portrait work, But come Friday I kick into Wedding photographer gear with the Wedding Rehearsal and dinner for Alex and Stacy.
Several years ago I met Stacy at the Lela Fashion show. She is a great model and the model of one of my favorite and first few Fashion show photos when I was getting stated photographing for the MIlwaukee Scene, Later at a party that a friend of mine threw, I met Alex. They are two great people friendly and outgoing. I was honored when they came to me and asked me to photograph their wedding, amongst all the other photographers they know.
Sunday is the Fashion 360 Fashion Expo by Infinity Productions; it will be a day long expo being held at the Washington County Fairgrounds. There will be demos, Fashion shows, and vendor booths. I will be on hand photographing the event as well as the runway shows.

Hey Blog Fans,
Sorry for the delay in getting a post-up, I have been researching what fashion we will be seeing this spring with Fashion Month underway. However, knits and rich colours from sangria red to cypress dark green and royal blue are popular right now during Fall/Winter.
This past week, I shot the WTA golf outing despite the raging wind and sideways rain.
Next week I will be meeting with my friends to discuss the photography of their upcoming wedding. This is a wedding I’m really looking forward to photographing; they are a great couple.
Then to round up the end of the week I have a portfolio update shoot and will be helping a family with a last minute senior portrait shoot.
Happy Labor Day weekend everyone,
Hope everyone had a great weekend. I got the pleasure of enjoying Labor Day in New York City, and finally got to eat at a restaurant I have been wanting to try; Bar Americain, Bobby Flay’s restaurant. I must say the place was amazing great good and service, I would definitely eat there again. This time I had the escargot for an appetizer, and for my entrée I had the rabbit. I have never had rabbit before, and it was very delicious, super tender and flavorful. It is something I will order again, but not before I try all the other items on their menu.
I think I have figured out a way to resolve the traffic trouble in New York. Require the taxi drives to get drivers licenses. You cannot make a right hand turn from the far left lane, nor can you go three cars wide down a one lane road.
The photos from Chicago Fashion Fest 2014 are up now please enjoy and feel free to tag yourself in the photos and please Like Kryg Photography.
What a weekend. Rain for a good portion of the afternoon Saturday caused the afternoon Chicago Fashion Fest runway shows to be postponed until Sunday, and models and designers took cover in the local restaurants and wardrobe tent until the rain passed. The 8pm AfterDark portion was able to go on as scheduled. I have many great photos the will be posted soon some will be posted here most will be posted on Chicago Fashion Fest Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/fashionfestchicago.
Then Sunday we enjoyed the 90 Degree temperatures and sun creating great weather to end the two day festival on. Thank you to Michelle Gomez and Melissa Gomez and all of their support staff, project coordinators, and Dynamic Salon https://www.facebook.com/DynamicSalonChicago for making a great weekend.
In this year’s show we saw many great designers, from causal wear to swim wear. We were even treated a big easy voodoo inspired costume line from Marie Laveau inspired Fantasy costumes, and a runway show for the dogs showing off the latest in pooch fashions. The kids with Smash modeling did a great job. We were even treated to a look from up and coming designers. Also there was live music and great food throughout, and DJ Kristin and Deseree fawn put on a great show providing the music for Sunday afternoon’s runway shows.
Good Afternoon all
It’s Friday yeah! It’s been a great week with only one hiccup that I hope to have fixed tomorrow. On Wednesday my laptop died due to a failed hard drive, as a result I have not been able to get photos out. At least all the photos are backed up so I did not lose anything. I should be back up tomorrow afternoon. Also this week I was able to get the new web site up.
Tomorrow is Chicago Fashion Fest; two days of sun and Fashion. This years the theme is New Orleans Festival. There will be 20+ runway shows, big easy music and food. The Festival takes place on five blocks of Division Street in Chicago’s uber trendy Wicker Park. As well as the runway shows and live music there will be a French Market, a side walk sale and more than 50 merchant booths. I hope to see you all there. I hope to be post the photos from the fest by mid-week next week. /for more on the fest here is a link to their Facebook page. The Runway Stage and the New Orleans Music Stage flank the event site- at opposite ends, with a French Market, a side walk sale and more than 50 merchant booths https://www.facebook.com/events/760400894010604/
